1. Place your leading foot on the front footpad
2. Kick-off with the rear foot and step onto the rear footpad
3. Flex and swing with your pelvis and knees to propel the exboard
4. The exboard moves in an S-shaped configuration, directed by the rider
5. Lean your body and tilt the footpad decks to steer - the exboard Rota-Deck Technology® enables extreme turns
6. To increase the exboard speed, simply swing your hips faster
Alternatively, start with both feet on the footpads by leaning against a wall or solid object; push off and start swinging your hips to keep moving.
1. Necessary tools are provided in the exboard package. Use these allen keys to loosen the wheel, then pull the bolts away and make sure you grab the spacers when taking the wheel out.
2. If you are only cleaning out the bearings and not replacing the wheels, knock them out of the wheel center and wipe them clean with some WD-40 and paper towel.
3. To replace the wheel, place the metal wheel guard in position and insert the longer bolt through it to keep in place. Now add the washer (smaller circumference on the wheel side).
4. Adding the second washer is a little trickier. Hold the board on its side (gravity can hold pieces in place) and push the washer (smaller circumference wheel side again) inline with the bolt. Now push the bolt through.
5. Screw in the second bolt until tight. Test the wheel for free movement. If it is too tight, loosen the bolt just a little and check again. Do not loosen too much as the wheel will move around when riding. This can damage the wheel and will be difficult to ride, and is dangerous
